Oh one other thing.. Sufism also talks about other things such as the self, nature of "God", what one's purpose is, and many others.. The information is supported by the experiences and knowledge of hundreds of enlightened individuals from various time periods. A lot of the information has solid foundations in science, thanks to the new understandings provided by quantum physics and beyond.

I would recommend taking a look at works by Imam al-Ghazali for example. Plenty of them at Amazon. Chances are your local library has them too.

Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help.

I strongly suggest you take a look at the sufism teachings. You'll learn what those creatures are, and how you can effectively protect yourself from them!

Best of luck

i remember that story well. in fact i remember that i was told that it was one of the reasons a lot of people name thier children after the names of god. Simply remembering your childs name is a way for you to remember the lord in daily life.

[...] Erin understands the power of invoking Jesus and God: I do believe that Jesus existed and that he was a man of exceptionally high awareness and vibration level. He was an Enlightened One. An angelic being of the highest order. There is no doubt in my mind why he chose to incarnate on Earth. Calling upon his energy and protection doesn’t seem remotely religious to me. It’s spiritual. Same with God. When I call out to God I am calling out to Source. [...]

There is a story in the Srimad Bhagavatam about a man of low spirit known as Ajamila. While born in a spiritual and religious family, he had spent his life in selffish, abominable pursuits that were harmful to others.

Somehow he named his son Narayana, which is a name for the Supreme Lord in the ancient Hindu texts.

At the time of death, he was visited by the gatekeepers of the hellish planets known as the Yamadutas. In exchange for all of his sinful acts, Ajamila was to be carried away, bound by a rope at the neck by these messangers of the Lord of Death. Upon seeing the Yamadutas, who were very fierce in their demenors and scary to look at, Ajamiila called upon his son. Narayana, Narayana please come help me.

Though his intentions were for his son, the name of Narayana stood supreme, and immediately the messangers of the Spiritual World, the Visnudattas, appeared on swan airplanes to take Ajamila away to the spiritual realm.

This story in the Srimad Bhagavatam is meant to illustrate the importance of remembering God at the time of death, and I share it with you as a confirmation that while Erin is speaking of her own experiences and generally about the convictions of different religious and spiritual beliefs, these are beliefs that are indeed, as she has stated, documented in legitamate spiritual and religious literatures that have been read and accepted for thousands of years by saintly personalities.

These texts confirm her conclusions that even if you do not believe in God, when you call out for him with sincerity in your heart, no matter what relgious tradition it is that you have followed, he will be there for you.
