Here is my take on it. When Chris first entered room 6 with the celebrities, he held up a baby block with the letter M on the top and the letter A on the side. Immediately, I thought of the name Mary. Interesting. Chris uses the power of SUGGESTION to influence what people think. When he was asking the group about the little girl and what she was wearing, of course the first thing they thought of was a dress. Little girls usually DO wear dresses right? What colour? pink. Also the first thing that came to mind. He asked if there was any other detail about the dress. My mind (as did members of the group) told me white along the bottom. When they were doing the seance, notive that everyone was seated EXCEPT Chris? It wouldn't have been too difficult for him to flip the table over with his foot, especially since the room was dark. Again, Chris wrote down the name "Mary" on a piece of paper and put it in a jar and them proceeded with the seance asking the "spirit" what her name was. Before they even started I thought MARY. Simple little girl name. I already had it in my mind from the very moment he showed the baby block back in room 6! The one thing that was clever about this episode was how the group of celebs were screaming when doing the second seance (I believe it was in the theatre). I would love to know what they were screaming about. Were they feeling something? Chris used his voice to build drama, raising his voice at the appropriate moment to frighten the group. The one (and pretty much only) thing in the show that struck me as peculiar was the IMAGE of a little girl floating in the background. They showed this for a couple of seconds only. I would love to see it again, for longer, and a slow motion of that shot (they said you could only see it in three frames). Thanks for sharing your experiences in this hotel Erin. Not a little girl. I believe Criss made up the whole Mary ghost thing to use as part of his illusion. The seance was not real, in my opinion. I believe it was obviously just illusion.
