About Erin Pavlina
I was an extremely intuitive child, often having premonitions and just knowing what people were feeling and thinking. I was in touch with my spirit guides at a young age, and would often dream of deceased relatives who would give me true information about what was coming up for me. My family learned to listen to my intuitive feelings.
In my teen years I got more heavily involved in the paranormal. I became an accomplished lucid dreamer in my early teens and by the age of 15 I learned how to astral project (leave my body) at will. It was during my teen years that I became afraid of the abilities that were manifesting for me as I often seemed to attract negative spirits and entities. My psychic and mental health were at risk, so when I got to college I did my best to turn off my abilities so I could be "normal." For a few years, this seemed to work. Although I continued to be intuitive, I wasn't encountering negative, scary spirits in my room at night anymore. I used my intuitive abilities to help navigate my way through life.
When I was 24 years old I met my future husband, Steve Pavlina. I was immediately attracted to his intelligence, love of personal growth, and his open mind. He encouraged me to open up that paranormal part of myself I had long since pushed aside. I did, this time with a lot more courage and a much higher vibration. I discovered that the higher my vibration was, the better the experiences I had. No longer was I faced with the negative, now I was connecting with the Light. My abilities expanded, and I helped Steve and others in my life to connect to their intuitive sides as well.
In early 2006 I had an encounter with a deceased spirit who channeled information to me about the fiance she'd left behind. After validating this information I concluded I might be a medium. So I began practicing my psychic and medium skills on friends, family, and then total strangers. My connection with my own spirit guides improved greatly, and they taught me how to read for other people. This opened up a new world for me that I had never considered. I shut down my other businesses and began doing readings for people full time. I was asked to appear on the Criss Angel Mindfreak show where I got to showcase my abilities for 1.7 million people.
My career as a psychic medium and intuitive counselor really took off. I know this is part of my life plan and purpose. I enjoy teaching others how to connect with their intuitive side and how to develop their psychic abilities, which is why I maintain this blog and have written hundreds of free articles on various topics. I'm driven to help bring our planet to a state of peace, love, and harmony. My articles focus on how we can improve ourselves, help others, live a life of joy and passion, increase our awareness, and find fulfillment of our life purpose.
