One day I was doing my regular chakra meditation where I open, spin, and clear my chakras and then I infuse them with new energy. Then I was struck with a bright idea.
I asked myself, “What if I infuse each of my chakras with the energy of a specific person from history who is well known for having channeled a lot of power into that specific chakra. I wonder if I could do that.”
So I mentally made my wish list.
For my root chakra, which is related to security, stability and creating long lasting secure foundations, I chose Henry Ford who embodied those qualities by creating a strong, long lasting infrastructure that would endure beyond his life.
For my sacral chakra, which is related to passion, creativity and focus, I chose Jim Henson, because he pursued his creative vision relentlessly, transformed imagination into reality, and spent his life doing work he genuinely loved that brought joy to many people.
For my solar plexus chakra, which is related to personal power, confidence and self-esteem I chose Martin Luther King, Jr. because he stood courageously for his convictions, even in the face of extraordinary adversity.
For my heart chakra, which is related to compassion, caring for others, and wanting to be of service to humanity, I chose Fred Rogers who embodies connection, kindness, and compassion.
For my throat chakra, related to speaking one’s truth and strong communication skills, I chose Winston Churchill for speaking with clarity, conviction, and the power to inspire others through his words.
For my brow chakra, which is related to intuition, I chose Edgar Cayce who embodied profound spiritual intuition by trusting inner guidance to bring healing, wisdom, and hope to others.
And lastly, for my crown chakra, which is related to spirituality and connection to the Divine I chose the Buddha who embodied spiritual awakening through profound wisdom, inner peace, and a deep realization of the unity of all life.
I had many other contenders for each spot and over time I would cycle through them. I was not interested in their politics, just the embodiment of their energy. If you do this exercise yourself, pick who you resonate with.
Once I had my list, I used my intuitive abilities to reach out to each soul on the other side, one at a time, and try to plug into the aspect of them related to the chakra I was working on.
How did I get access to these particular souls? We are all one, so I just had to sort of “scroll through” the part of the ocean that contained the drop that was that particular individual while they were incarnated.
Then I plugged my chakra into that energy and let it fill me up like I was putting gasoline in a car.
So for example, when I was connecting to the Martin Luther King, Jr. energy, I felt powerful, confident, authoritative, and courageous.
And when I tuned in to Fred Rogers I felt great compassion and empathy flooding into me.
By the time I was done refilling my tanks, I was buzzing with this beautiful, almost overpowering energy, and I felt like I might explode with inspired action and internal connection to the divine. It felt fantastic!
I completed my meditation and did some work on my business, then went out into the world with this new energy pulsing through me. I noticed I could see people more clearly (from an intuitive perspective, not with my eyes). And the actions I took that day were less focused on myself and more focused on others.
I did that meditation whenever I wanted to have a similar experience. Sometimes instead of pulling in all the souls, I just connected with one but for longer, and it was more to have a conversation than to draw that energy into my chakras.
Specific energies are out there in the ether and you can connect with them if you practice.
